I was hiking through this area, and was noticed by the shepherd dog. It performed a perfect job by making the hiking path free for me, so giving me a safe passage.
I found myself counting the sheep but, alas, I fell asleep. But, that shepherd dog sure did his job well. You have a very cleared path in front of you!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Great shot Cornelius - those shepherd dogs are amazing - in this instance, the dog was behaving like a traffic cop to allow you to get by and continue with your hike!!!!!!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

What an adventure, this is so unique and highly entertaining. We really have to give credit to the instinct of animals, they are more in tune with Nature and our world than we are, I believe. Wonderful capture.
