Depicted is the nowadays Central Station Square.

The total reconstruction of the square and the Central Station building started in 2004 and was ended in March 2014. The clock and the text 'Centraal Station' from the former (1957) Central Station were carried over on the new station.

The art on the square became a 'face lift' as well. The statue 'Moments Contained', created by Thomas J. Price, got a prominent place there.

All very modern looking Mr. C. - great angles in this shot - your vantage point was a good one.

I love the openness of the scene, all the folks walking along, the modern look also. Terrific shot.

Perfectly composed and what a wonderful pristine and modern area this is. I was in Rotterdam once many moons ago just for a day.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
