I've heard this coastline is dramatic and it sure is true. This is an amazing perspective, but can you even get down there to the sand anyway? The water is blue and purple and that is rare. An uncle of mine travels the world and lives in Santa Rosa. He tells me that SF has the most beautiful coastline in the world followed by Turkey. I haven't seen SF, but from this photo, I can guess that he is probably right. Great photo, Donna.

Cindy, I don't know if you can get to the shore at this particular spot -- I'm sure some people try it. Most of the Big Sur beach area is fairly inaccessible.

Touring the world one picture at a time.
The complexities of the colors in the water and on the rocks is amazing. The perspective is also something that contributes to the overall beauty of this marvelous pic...it's in my favs. I'd love to go visit after seeing your composition...very well done :)PJ
