Another of the sunset shots I got from Bodega Head last week. I hope you appreciate this, guys, cuz I shore froze waiting out there for this. I would have liked to have framed the shot with the sun a little more off center, but I think the colors and the sky redeem the shot. Thanks to all who view and comment. Nikon D80.

Sweet! I don't know how you could have called this anything else. The blues and golds really stand out. I love the reflection straight across the water.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

WOW great sunset picture! I love the sharpness of the waves despite the low light level. Must have been a hard capture. A+

The way the clouds and the water are angled it gives the illusion that the sun is not right in the middle, and actually it really isn't quite dead center anyway. It's marvelous and thanks for sacrificing for our enjoyment..yes, savor that glass of wine..hope you're sitting in front of a roaring fireplace too, Donna..nice job.

Well, lem'me tell ya sumthin...this is one of the best sunsets I have seen. I immediately saved it and put it up on my desktop, and it will be there awhile. Now, it may surpirse you as to what in this image really "makes it" sing for me. Is is the sun on the water? No, but that part is beautiful. Is it the sky? No, but that is gorgeous as well. It's the rocks in the foreground. That is an approach to content and framing that I don't see often. I love it. Marvelous job, lady!
