This is looking south from Bodega Head - the same vantage point as Bodega Head at Dusk, on the Sonoma Coast, California. Thanks to all who view and comment.
How fortunate you are to live so close to the sea. This coastline is phenomenal and your shots are wonderful. It is clearly sundown here and it lights up the cliffs giving them a golden glow. The surf is well captured.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

These are the last sun beams of the day, right? It is slowly getting dark, but there is still some warm glow in the air. I wish I could be there by your side to watch it up from the cliff. Spectacular.
Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to repose. Trust me on this one, I live there ............The Lion...................... MY GALLERY - The Magical Mystery Tour
Since you are looking south and the sun is on your right, it must be a sunset. From the light on the water it could have been even a sunrise. It is a very beautiful photograph and I like it a lot.
Looking at the thumb above, my first impression was, hmmm a little dark, but that changed soon when i had opened it full size, the light over the sea is just georgous Donna, what a lovely shot.
Fantastic image Donna. The lighting on the cliffs is wonderful, as are the waves crashing on the rocks and the soft blue sky which makes a lovely contrast. Very well done.
I saw this in the featured images and wanted to comment. This is just gorgeous and brings back mermories for me as i used to live in California for many years and used to go out to the coast alot. Thanks for posting this. Sandi
