I went to the New Images gallery before my friend's list today and picked this right out as yours, Donna. I think you already knew that I would love this one and I sure do. The colors are warm and wonderful, the composition is terrific and the image is just classic, quaint and filled with old world charm as you said. A favorite and a 10 if I get the opportunity to vote on it!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Got a whole entire bliss attack out of this one! The color and light got me first and then the details around the window -- like the indoor/outdoor philodendron system and the intricacies of the scaling wall -- held me fast.
In my humble opinion this should be made into a painting. It already looks as if it is halfway there, and it would make a marvelous subject for the medium, just as it has for the photographic view. Lovely job :)
