The old North Bridge of Concord, MA is the site of the first organized military action against the British. While standing at the crossing that witnessed "the shot heard 'round the world", I looked downstream on the Concord River. Enjoy.

Excellent job, my friend, and I found myself lost in this upload, as I do so many of yours. The reflections, the overall color and clarity...you do very fine work. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us your vision of the world.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

This is really quite beautiful! What a wonderful river with such pleasant trees, wonderful sky, clear water. Just a delight to see. Historical too!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This is a real nice photo. Might sound silly, but I like the fluffiness of the photo... The trees look nice an soft to me as does the sky making a great match. Great capture!

Saw this as featured image and took a look. I'm glad I did. I like how there's more than meets the eye if you take a look. I like the person in canoe and also the home that's trying to hide in trees. In this one, it's not what you see--it's what you don't see. Love the trees and clouds and the bend in the river. Always makes me wonder what's beyond the bend. Good photo Don.
