Rome, It - July 19, 1985 - Behind the walls of the Sistine Chapel and Sistine Museum building lies this beautiful garden surrounding the Papal Apartment.

Being fairly adventurous in my younger days, I leaned as far as I could out of an open museum window to capture a glimpse of probably one of the most beautiful spots on the Italian Peninsula.

Aha! You were an inventive sort it would appear as well. Wonderful that you were able to get this shot and even more wonderful that you didn't fall out that window!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Think this is a rare image Don. Have seen a lot of images from the Sistine Chapel but none of this subject. Think everyone, except you, forgot to capture this beautiful spot. To me this behaviour (capture unusal subjects) is characteristic for a good photographer.
Great work again!

I really like the perspective but I wish I could see more the the building. Guess that's the architecture student in me. Great lighting on this photo.
