Thanks to Roseman_Stan post of one of my favorite butterflies, I looked in the old dust bin and found this old Coolpix series I shot for my Grandson's elementary school class about eight years ago.
Not too big on insect life, but this is very creative and sorta creepy....where did he go?....maybe the shadow?, find out in the sequel.
Good one Don, an attention grabber.
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
Delayed education for us as well Don (never too old to learn), lol. Great panel of carterpillars with an extreme clarity (can't almost believe it's eight years old).

When butterflies first emerge, they almost look like a wadded up Kleenex. The structure to the left is its chrysalis. Everything you see was cramed into that tiny space.
