According to the Old Testament, Noah's ark came to rest on Mount Ararat in present day Hayastan. Known officially in English as the Republic of Armenia, is a landlocked mountainous country in Eurasia between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea in the Southern Caucasus.

Armenia borders Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, and Iran and Azerbaijan to the south.

I like this copper-nickel coin for its simple design. The denomination is 10-drams. It is about the size of a US Quarter. The reverse contains the coat of arms of Armenia.

The backdrop is the flag of the Republic of Armenia above the coat of arms of Armenia.

Enjoy.

Don, I'm honest by saying that the presentation of your coin series has become better and better in time. To me you've achieved the professional level in it now. Great work my friend.

I think you could make a very interesting book with all these beautiful illustrations you have shown us in this series Don. They really set the coins off brilliantly. Lovely colour and again interesting background information of each. Well done!

Another great presentation, Don. The collection must be quite extensive. I like the bright colors behind the coins here.

This one stood out to me, as I watched "Evan Almighty" last night.

I'm enjoying your coin series as well.
