The Roman bath at Chester's ancient Roman fort facing the dressing room on the north end. This is one of the best preserved Roman baths in the world. After a hot bath, the Romans would proceed to the left toward a heated drying room.

Now that is what I would call "free bath time"...pretty open. But I like the photo very much. So interesting to know the history of a place such as this. Very nice shot you got here. V

Quite interesting to see this comparatively well preserved bath. You have captured it well.

Very interesting image and narrative Don. These remains make us aware of the interesting aspects of a gone high standard culture. Good capture.

cool, those roman baths were probably awesome when they were first built, if they are anything like the ones at pompeii they would be pretty amazing!

Nice shadows and a lovely old tree make this place come to life. I wonder who they got to carve the stones for them.

Great photo and interesting story. It's a piece of something which tell us the living in the past.
