The Quire Screen dates to the 15th century. It is one of the most striking features inside the York Minster. The entrance to the Quire appears to be guarded by the 15 Kings of England from William I to Henry VI. These seven kings stand to the left of the archway.

The one on the very far right looks like he is staring straight at you with his sword put forward a little. Its almost as if he was leaning out of his little rectangle to look at you and make sure he got in the shot. This one and the other one are so interesting. Real great shot.

If 4 out of 5 people SUFFER from diarrhea...does that mean that one enjoys it? Ever wonder about those people who spend $2.00 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backwards: NAÏVE . If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked, and dry cleaners depressed? What hair color do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?

I like this group better. I was looking for a fat one, but you said it only goes to Henry VI. lol I love the variety of crowns and the items they hold in their hands. Another great shot to look at and linger over.

Nice pic Don! They're not unlike the Kings of Israel row of statues at Notre Dame.

With the exception of the objects on the lower right, this is a mighty fine image.

This is a very interesting and well captured image. I agree with Tom though, the objects to the lower right are a little disturbing. Apart from that I really like this photo a lot!
