My sister in law came to visit us in Ontario Canada and this was her flight arriving from Galgary Alberta. The sun was kind of glaring but I like the effect and thought it would be alright as a desk top. Hope you like it to and thanks for having a look, Don

I love the way the sun spots look in this Don. It gives it "character". I hope all of you had an enjoyable visit. Glad you shared this moment with us.

Don, as you know, I'm living in a very small country. My daughter, son in law and grandchildren are living about 200 miles from us. Even at this relative small distance we see each other only about once per six weeks. I can imagine what it means when relatives are coming from that far. I thinks it's really something special. Wish your sister in law and you and your other relatives (?) therefore a great time in Ontario. Regards, Cornelius

Hmmm, I’m not a huge fan of photoshopped lens flares as it is hard to blend them in successfully. Because the angles clash with the genuine shadows in the shot it kind of emphasises that. I think the natural lighting and shadows would have suited the image better left as they were.

this shot is really clear, and the effect of the sun complements it perfectly. i don't think i'll ever know why it happens, but it looks great here! lol :)

So is that really a sun flare or a PS trick?
