Nice photo. The two arches nearest the watchtower appear more gothic than Roman. You don't normally see pointed arches in Roman architecture.

Lots to look at in this one. I found myself wondering what the story was on the foreground stone...and noticed the pointed arches (was that type required to support the tower?)...what is the story on building a tower in the middle of the bridge...and the river (had it risen over the years?)...and so on.
