What a lovely capture of the ancient bridge. Including the larger stones in the foreground was an excellent idea.

Nice photo. The two arches nearest the watchtower appear more gothic than Roman. You don't normally see pointed arches in Roman architecture.

Lots to look at in this one. I found myself wondering what the story was on the foreground stone...and noticed the pointed arches (was that type required to support the tower?)...what is the story on building a tower in the middle of the bridge...and the river (had it risen over the years?)...and so on.
