This is a very fine well focused shot of the friendly bugs. They seem to be making a heart shape.

I was wondering what it was when the image slowly downloaded. I didn't get it, as insect physiology is so different from us mammals! I never saw an image like this, it is fascinating, the clarity is perfect. A really awsome professional work. A fave for me. :)

Wonderful photo, Ewa. I did a Google search on "mating dragonflies" and learned that the "position" in your photo is a common one -- called the "mating wheel" -- but I also learned that YOUR photo is, by far, the best shot out there. You've done Caedes proud.

That is the best dragonfly shot I’ve seen for awhile Ewa. Not only is the subject fascinating but the colour and clarity are first rate too. Congratulations it’s a beauty.

Hi Ewa, what a lovely capture of a pair of Sympetrum sanguineum in the 'in copula' position. They can stay like this for several hours!!

How this could get such a low c-index is beyond me. The focus is great.. and the fact you captured such elusive creatures so well is amazing. Great work.
