I bet this feline keeps a clean hanky in her back pocket to wipe her lip after dining. The one in our house often sleeps on things, particularly suitcases of visitors. This one may have preferred the smooth paper, that would absorb her body heat and give it back to her. Good eye to spot and shoot this one. I think I'll download it and see what kind of character it has without the wall and brick floor, only seeing the old wood, newspaper, and cat in the frame. Saved and faved.

This is a great capture. Cats are really good at finding warm and cosy places to sleep. Very nice work!

This photo speaks volumes in its simplicity! It's one of those things that a person can look at and ponder on for a long time and feel, think, dream and be at peace. The cat sleeping peacefully on a newspaper for dryness and warmth, on a lone bench and in the midst of all the graffiti. It's a most awesome photo! Congrats on this, and bravo as well. I like it, in all it's simplicity, it still is very powerful.
One thing came to mind immediately when I saw this, this would look propably even better in B&W, though. =)
