Sardis is an ancient city in the west of Anatolian Peninsula, 82 km's east of İzmir. This ancient city, capital to the Lydian State, has roots of as old as 2000 BC. The bath complex is a part of gymnasium complex build 2nd century AD. This is a Roman bath achitecture. The part seen in the picture is right side of the entrance. Tanju
