When sun was setting these flamingos were already sleeping. I couldn't be closer because there was a swamp between the birds and me. Hope you like.

Wow this is a beautiful looking photo and love the warm colours.Plus I do like the illuminated reflections of the birds.I can see a couple of coots trying to get in on the act as well.

Perfect clarity on these "curlies" Tanju. I see that they are on their comfortable position of standing on one leg for sleeping. Great shot!

They go to bed even before me. There is still sun. LOL I can see that they are not beautiful only when they are awake. Excellent work, Tanju.

Tanju - It looks like they feel safe being guarded by the black swans. I like the lighting very much. Thad

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Great that I can see them...here in the northern region you can never see them...as I know they live in Europe only in southern France...maybe spain and Greece. It is another wonderful shot of these flamingos.
