This is a wildflower I came across while hiking in Vermont last summer. I have never seen a wildflower like this before, and I have absolutely no idea what it is. I know almost nothing about flowers anyway. Maybe someone could enlighten me as to the make and model of this flower. If not, I'm content with it's mysterious identity. Hope you enjoy. Eli

Eli, I think the official name in latin is flowerus mysteria! I bet one of our resident macro experts may know though. Nice macro work, the colors come through very nicely.

Cool Eli, and it's not even Friday. Foofy Friday that is. The day of the week when us MEN post flower pics.
Now you KNOW. LOL.

Simple? Have my doubts, know, however, for sure that you've captured a beautiful image Eli! Well done.

It is called a Harebell or Scottish Bluebell. We have lots of them grow here in the wild in Great Britain between July and September. Their Latin name is Campanula rotundifolia. They may have a different name over there, but still one of the Campanula family. This is a lovely capture and delicate colouring. Well done!

Nice contrast in color with the background. I'm glad someone knew what it was.

As I'm quite a novice, I typically have no advise - but I know what I like!
