This was taken on the same night as Link Belt and it has the same 30 second exposure. I think the most interesting thing about this shot is the reflection of the lights on the water. Eli
I agree that the lights on the water are really nice. It's so smooth looking. I was going to say that the shot could have been a little crisper, but then I saw that it's a 30 second exposure on water...and taking that into consideration...this is rather crisp. Well done. :)
I just love these night reflective shots. They give a whole different feel to what it would be in the day! I too like the way the lights have that star shape, adding a certain emphasis.
Well done!

Night photography is so challenging in and of itself. You have done an excellent job capturing the lights and, as you mentioned, the reflections. Overall it is a little dark for my personal taste ~~shrugs~ but all in all it is an excellent post.

Unfortunately I'm having slow internet problems again, so I only got to view this in full size once, then read the comments, and couldn't get it to load up full size for me to reevaluate, so my comment harks back to my first impression which was that I agreed with your assessment of the reflection of the light and found it interesting that the water itself seems to have taken on a different texture.
