Thanks for the comments, I'm new to this site and I really love the supportive nature of everyone on it.
To me this photograph shows the dual nature of an urban environment. In the daytime, with thousands of passengers using this vestibule, it is a thick artery, carrying the lifeblood of the city. In the dead of night it is a hollow, cold tube as Camerahound said.
Wow. I like how you captured the desolation & coldness of this tunnel. I also like the light refrations off of the ceiling in half-circles. Cool. Good photo. Thank you.
İ adore this kind of tunnel and road pics. And this one is taken professionally..The grey-like color-scheme the lights on top...everything is in place...Makes me wanna get there and walk non-stop...Great shot ;)
oh i just love this, partly because i love chicago but mostly becasue it is a great capture! i love the lighting, how it arches all the way to the floor. and i love the red at the end, and how that is the only color. very cool image, reminds me of some good times! ~abby
I agree that it looks very lonely. And a little scary. Reminds me of "American warewolf in London" the part where someone gets attacked in the subway and no one is there ot help.
