It is so beautiful to walk along an unspoilt beach in the early morning – no houses – just the play of light on the dunes. The vegetation clinging to the sand dunes and surviving in spite of the salty air supports a colony of small birds who feed on the nectar from the plants and the insects who are also attracted to the nectar. Their movement and colour adds to the scene. The high cloud above has just given up the last of the pink glow from the rising sun. All is at peace with the world.

Not only are you a fine photographer Frank, I think you have a bit of the poet in you! This is another absolutely lovely shot with a beautiful sentiment. Kudos!

I would love to have a walk like this one, It's so beautiful and yes, it seems so quite this time of the morning. I love the way the sunlight is hitting the beach, great colors too. Excellent shot.

This reminds me of walking on the beach at sunrise in Oregon. At least 80% of the Pacific coastline in Oregon is a state (maybe national) park...and so no houses are allowed! The wind is high and often cold, so we always walked into the wind going out... Lovely picture, brings back such wonderful memories!
