The first silo art was completed in Western Australia in 2015.There are now 52 scattered across Australia with more on the way. They have become popular tourist attractions bringing visitors to rural towns. This one is in the tiny town of Picola in the state of Victoria. Frank, I'm a lover of murals.
That's why I've photographed and shared a number of them on Caedes. But I've never seen a 'mural' on a silo.
Not only is it an inventive way to cheer up a farm, but by judging your narrative, these silo artworks are also an attraction for the tourists.
