Lake Eildon is formed by the Eildon Dam. Following a wet winter and summer the Lake is almost full immersing the base of these eucalypts and emphasizing their colourful trunks.

Frank, I don't know enough about eucalypts so I wonder if these weather conditions continue whether they can survive in these submerged conditions or not.
In any case, the recent wet weather conditions 'down under' provide a unique picture.

Those trunks are spectacular ! I like this - its looks as though the trees are taking a paddle :)
