This was taken by the walkway where the Giraffes are. I actually got to rub it on the nose when it stretched its head towards the crowd.I was on top of the world for the rest of the day. This was something I have always wanted to do- touch an exotic animal.

Well, we don't get to touch, but you certainly made it possible for us to see him and he is so cute! I like that he is behind the grass because it draws our attention to what is just beyond the grass! Nice shot!

I love giraffe's ... they are amazing animals. A very nice capture Eileen & the giraffe looks so content in the tall grass. I am so happy that your dream came true ... how exciting that moment must of been. Thanks for sharing.

Eileen, I never seen a giraffe that close. When I was a child I sat on a elephant, that's the closest I've ever been to a exotic anamal. Do giraffes bite?
