One of the many peaceful and beautiful scenes my Mother and I enjoyed yesterday afternoon at Myrtle Beach. This was taken as we were headed down to the ocean to walk and feed the seagulls.I hope you enjoy this scene as much as we did. Thanks everyone for your views and comments.

Eileen I think this is gorgeous. The compostion is superb. The colors of the hued sky and the way the grasses have a just a bit of light play on them is terrific. May i suggest one thing that would have made this a perfect post - the horizon line seems off some. I think if that was corrected that this would be a perfect shot. How nice that you got to spend sometime with you mom and at the beach no less. Sandi

The image is not as important as the time that you spent with your mom. Although the image is great. Enjoy her while you have her.

A nice pic and a great view. Sadly most of the country doesn't look like this right now.

Wow, you've got all the good weather down there. What a very pretty view. I wish I lived nearer to the ocean. They say that most people in the US live within a hundred miles of the ocean.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

They are all right in praising, Eileen. Somehow tonight I feel like agreeing with Kim first of all ...
My Mom & Dad paid us a visit today bringing lots of things to eat [them parents in general seem to be living in constant fear of losing their young in the result of starvation ...LOL]
BTW feeding them seagulls and other water fowl like swans IS dangerous - they would chase one hissing angrily if not FULLY satisfied - happened to me so I know LOL

Love the glistening on the water and the 'wide openess" of it. A lovely view and so glad you shared this.
