The Hummingbird Moths that visit my Butterfly bushes move just as fast as their namesakes LOL. Here is a "fleeting glance" of one as it was flying away. Hope you enjoy and my thanks to all who stop by to view.

Well, I'll give this more tha just a fleeting glance Eileen! lol In fact I could stare at it for quite awhile without getting tired of it! He almost has bumblee colors on him; so different from the colors on those around here! Excellent capture Ms. Foofoo! I see you haven't gotten rusty at all! LOL C):-)

Really quite nice, Eileen. An excellent capture with brilliant colors to boot! Most folks don't know what these critters are but you DO know your stuff. If you go to hummingbirdmoth.com and then go to "your photos" > click United States > Missouri > and then Liberty you will find 4 shots I got of these several years back. They are in no way as nice as your posting here but I thought you might want to take a peek. They will post your image also, if you would like, and also identify which variety it is. The pics are protected there from download. Great shot, Eileen -

They do move quite as fast as the hummers without a doubt. Great capture, Eileen. That must be a butterfly bush.

I found several of these along with loads of butterflies in a local garden recently. They are hard to get a good image of. You my friend have captured this one very well. Very nice image.
