Just a few feet from where the ferry docked was this old boat ramp. I'm not really sure how long it's been here but it looks as though it's been quite a few years doesn't it?. What really caught my eye was the different shades of color and textures in this. Thought it might make an interesting photo. Hope I was right :)

Not much left of it anymore Eileen! It does look quite old..maybe built of cobblestones? Excellent composition of your shot on this! C):-)

I like the layered look of the various colors and textures, Eileen. The lighting is really good too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Great eye for an interesting upload and your composition is great. I'm really enjoying the soft lighting we're getting this time of the year!!

The layered rocks show someone cared and worked hard one time to construct this ramp. I like rocks so this is very interesting. You did good job with lighting and angle.
