A dormant field and barn near my house that is ablaze with the yellow of wild mustard this past spring. What a beautiful landscape these wild flowers make.
Just a gorgeous site. I long for spring already. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day are just a few of the holidays before we can talk spring. The flowers and old barn make an odd mix. It's like an old man watching a pretty lady walk by. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Good post Eileen.
I often see wild mustard in the spring, but it is so sparse & scattered. A beautiful scene you captured Eileen ~ I love the contrast in colors. Nicely done.
I was lucky enough to get this in the voting booth and gave it a BIG thumbs up!! I really enjoy the overall scenery and the comp 'n' colors are great!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
It looks more like a plush carpet! lol Such beautiful colors in this, Eileen and I am intrigued by the little building to the right. It has arched doorways or windows.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I thought this might have been recent & I was really going to be jealous! LOL Beautiful colors Eileen, and the old brick barn(?) really adds to this! C):-)
