If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect, then why practice?
Nice subject, I like the colors and the way the insect stands out. The focus could be better and the photo could benefit from slight lighting adjustments but it's overall a good capture and looks very nice! Well done :)

great image. I love shallow depth of field / big apeture shots. I thought the focus was OK, but I would have added some post-product sharpening. You've captured 'the' moment very well.

Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?
Out of focus? I thought the DOF was intentional. I prefer it that way. A couple of his legs have a little blur but that just seems to add movement to me. I think it's a great shot. It would make a great desktop too cause you don't want your icons all mucked up in background details that would make them hard to see. I like the softness of it and the way the flower blends off into the background.
