it is quite an unusual bird and the photograph is good. The top part of the bird is very much more in focus so I might be inclined to crop the photograph and make him take up most of the picture. Also it is a good idea to focus on the eye and when that does not work you can always add a little highlight to the eye to make it appear that way. Hope that helps a little, but good attempt at capturing this little bird.

Really like the bird's expression. I too would suggest cropping so the bird pops even more!
