In the VB I would give this one a 9, as it is just a little off the crispness I look for. Good job tho. Thanks for posting this one.

This is a photo of a horse. The horse is an attractive animal, but the shot itself doesn't have any creative quality. It's just a horse. We've all seen horses before. Try to capture the "horse within a horse" to really get people to say, "Wow!" I've seen shots that had only an eye, but which made the viewer think about the horse's feelings, or attitude, and which really encapsulated, "horse-ness" Your shot, while technically good isn't artistic.

I really suggest that you study the rules of composition, to the left under "other stuff" Caedes explains things a lot better than I do, because I'm an idiot as most will tell you. Even so, the rules of composition have made even my dreadful photos become (somewhat) artistic. If I can do it, I'm sure you can.
