We took our annual trip to the central California coast and the town of Cambria. 10 miles north of Cambria is the home of the Piedra Blanca Elephant Seal colony. I captured this image of a yealing Elephant Seal there.

The poor thing looks scarred. Looks like it had some rough times as well (skin has some old injury). You have captured its expression well. High marks for details and colors, good job

Its eyes look blank Garrett. It also looks fairly defenseless. Excellent capture. I don't think I have seen one this close.
