It was almost 7 days to the hour when I took my last image of the Hummer Nest. I was blown away by how large they had gotten. Last week they could barely poke their heads above the rim of the nest and they could drop down and not be seen. This week they barely fit in the nest and they appear to have all of their feathers. I have a hunch that they will be gone when I return next week.....

Amazing! I can't believe how fast they're maturing. You couldn't have posed them any better placed side by side and both so well photographed. Thank you for sharing them!

They are so beautiful and yes, they have grown (although it seems strange to hear the word large used in conjuntion with hummers). Garrett, You might think about doing a combination photo with this one and the one where they were being fed by the parent - it would be sensational.

These babies are getting quite big now Garrett, & I expect they are eagerly awaiting food from their parents. Soon they will fly from the nest, nice work the focus is spot on. (o:

How precious they are! How fortunate you are to have gone thru the whole "series" of these little Hummingbirds lives. I hope they will still be there, but if not, you will always have these treasured photos. They are so beautiful. You've done something so very special by sharing these with us all. I just love the touches of the neon green showing now. Verena
