I wasn't able to get out this past weekend as I was on a Boy Scout backpacking trip with my son. When I got home from work today there was a group of Waxwings in a neighbors Sugargum Tree. I took the opportunity to capture this image. The Waxwings love to feed on the male and female fruits of the tree. Soon they will be gone until next year.

What a sun shiny day Garrett. The Waxwing looks waxed. I guess I was unaware the fruits of the Sugargum Tree were male and female. After googling I see I was quite uninformed on several fruit trees.
Excellent shot.

The blue and green works very well, gives the picture a fresh look and the bird is spot on.

Stunning shot, Garret.
