Here is a new bird for my gallery, the
Western Tanager. Another summer visitor
to Southern California and a very striking one at that. I was so excited to
see and get the opportunity to capture its image. I hope you like it.
You get some beautiful birds out your way Garrett and you have the patience and skill to find them. Maybe I should lift my head upwards when I stop to smell the roses.
I can see why you would be excited about seeing this guy in the wild. He has some crazy sunny colors. Very beautiful and I like the composition to. Sometimes I swear you pose these birds.
What a supper-spot! And nice that all the camera equipment was working, no flat batteries, dust on the lens and you kept your composure! Leastways - an attractive visitor to any garden and nicely framed in your lens.
The blur does not bother me, great shot of this colorful bird, You have introduced so many type of birds to us, not the ordinary ones I always post. The fancy ones hide from me.
Oh he is going peek a boo.I've seen one once here in ORegon, but I can never get photos of the birdies. So glad you can. I love this wonderful one. Verena
Great post.
