I often see these guys flitting through the ravine, but being a low lying area the light is often a challenge.

This image is a fine capture of these cheerful birds.

[Alberta eh? You could have dropped by for a pint and a pie? ]

Great use of blur Garret. It really adds dof and makes the colors on the beautiful little guy jump off the page.

This must have been a very challenging shot Garrett. It looks like it doesn't sit still for very long. The background does make the bird pop.
Good post.

I think these birds are gorgeous and the way your feathered friend is displaying his/her 'colors' is quite attractive (or handsome :)
Great DOF as well!

I love this little fellow's black mask with a thin outline of white and subtle colour tones! Then, there is the hint of red and yellow on it's wing and tail... Wow! Superb details, colours and DOF, as usual, Garrett!! Saved + faved.

Bird photography requires patience, precision, and understanding bird behavior. I focus on capturing their natural beauty and unique movements. Using the right equipment and panorama image stitching services respecting their habitats ensures stunning images while promoting conservation awareness. Bird photography blends artistry with nature appreciation, making each shot a rewarding endeavor.
