Another tranplant found on the Hawaiian Islands in the Common Waxbill. I am not sure where this bird originates from? A very tiny seedeater, this bird travels in small flocks.

Stunning image. Just seen this in the VB and felt i had to comment. The composition is supurb and i love his very trendy red spectacles! What a lovely little creature! We have nothing quite so jaunty in this country except maybe our gregarious robin red breast!

Garrett this may be a Common Waxbill but I am sure it never looked so good. Beautiful photo. Great art.
