I am uploading a couple more photos of one of the young Great Horned Owls...both these photos were taken about four days back...this Owl is about 8 to 9 weeks old..used Nikon D50 with Tamron 70-300 lens set at 300mm shutter 1/20 aperture f/8 ISO 200..

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
I guess he's going to lose all those extra feathers soon. He's looks really nice sitting up there on his perch.
