This is a photo of a New Zealand Kea bit drab for a bird but they are funny characters. I took this one at the bird paradise center in the uk. The Kea is one of the few alpine parrots in the world Kea can solve logical puzzles, such as pushing and pulling things in a certain order to get to food, and will work together to achieve a certain objective.

Nice, it looks like you are shooting through glass.

This is an interesting bird that I certainly have never seen before. And you caught him at a good angle. Well done!

I have never heard of this little guy. Looks like a mix between a hawk and a kiwi. Absolutely fascinating. And nice shot as well! Keep it up!!

P.S. I have a couple of new pics I just put up. Any comments or advice you can leave (if you have a spare moment only) would be most welcome!! Have an awesome day!! And Merry Christmas!!

What an interesting bird. Seems it would be fascinating to see them work. I like his feathers and what a beak!

Oh, yes. That bird certainly blends with its environment. Good tone in tone picture. Obviously taking the branch out of the picture would have taken the bird away, too. So better to have them both.
Does the Kea have a green(ish) tail? Hey, if you ever see him in profile, go get him!
