Sorry I have not had time to post edit my Swan series properly just yet, so I thought you might enjoy this jpg in the meantime. Although Moorhens maybe reclusive they will exploit an opportunity given the chance & I caught this one boldly scavenging for discarded bread alongside Eastville pond. :o) ... Good post Phlossie and the clarity is super. I like the wall as foreground and water as background. They look like chickens to me. I wonder is Col. Sanders ever substitued one of these for a clucker. We will never know. Nice shot.

This is a lovely shot of this bird. The clarity is brilliant and I like the lighting and colour too. I always think the Moorhens feet look too big for it really which makes them look funny! Well done with this one!
