Yep we get Yankee birds at the nature reserve too not just Coots, & Moorhens. People may perhaps say this is as pretty, or more pretty than a Mandarin Duck.
I have some jpgs of Mandarins too but their looking a bit rough right now as it's past their breeding season so I can't really give a balanced opinion.

That's a wood duck? Looks real to me. Nice paint job then. LOL. Super picture of that thing. Nice hairdo it has, too. He he.

Now I know where the Mullet came from. Great photo Phlossie and it is a beauty. I thought Mandarins were oranges. I didn't realize they were orange ducks. Nice post.
