I've already uploaded a Black Bellied Whistling Duck but it seems Earls beaten me to it with this White Faced Whistling Duck. :o(

I love these colourful Ducks with their big bills this one's eating seed on the edge of the path. :o)

Thank you everyone for all your supportive comments lately, & I must apologise for not commenting on a lot of good work. Between work, & spending time post editing jpgs I find there's little time left especially as some narratives take well over an hour to compose with the related links etc .. Catch you soon Phil

To tell you the truth, I don't think I would like to have a duck whistling all the time. I think it would drive me nuts. I'd rather hear it quack. Another great shot, Phil.

It's a nice take, Flossman, but I'd like to see it a little lighter.

Thanks for taking the time to entertain us with your uploads. I know it takes a lot of time and effort, but it's always worth it!

Don't worry about the commenting Phlossie. Keep the narrative coming and the great photos. You are as they say, Cheap Entertainment. Sorry, I couldn't pass it up. Have a good evening and I bet you whistle while you work.

That duck is trying to pass himself off as another kind of bird! Actually he has characteristics of several other species, but he is rather grand looking. I never realized just how many kinds of ducks there were until you started posting these, Phil. Thank you for broadening my horizons.

A wonderful looking bird Phil. It has a sort of comical air about it as though it had been put together by someone like Terry Gilliam.
