Ello readers I'm going stir crazy over here it's been raining fairly constantly for over 6 weeks now, & there's still no end to it in sight ! 2morrows forecast is for strong winds, & heavy showers, I'll be aquaplaning to, & from work again. :o(
Enough said :o) this shot belongs with this one, the Border Collie's trying so hard to be cool. :o)

Still observing the traffic Phil. This is a great dog, as you say not a pampered pet but a proper member of the farm's workforce. It's a beautiful shot.
Thanks for the link. It's been some time since I heard "I'm looking through you", but I remembered all the words. That comes of listening to the records over and over playing on my brother's Dansette Record Player, in our bedroom, till we had memorised the words. And I still know them 43 years later.

The first Boom Box was the Dansette. The Beatles really changed the culture during their heyday. Your border collie looks so alert and is just waiting to herd you home Phlossie. Good post.

I too had a record deck similar to a Dansette Steve. It had a high output crystal pick-up, & a single multi stage valve, & it sounded more bassy with the lid down.

Hello Phil....This is indeed a fine picture of the collie..On the farm I was brought up on we had two of these guys who were only used as working dogs....This photo has brought back memories....Well done....All the very best to you Phil...................Mick.
