This is my 2nd entry into Caedes curves contest, & my 2nd uploaded night shot of this this bridge. :o)
A big, & special thankyou to * TC * / paul1972 who spent some time showing me just how good another filter programme was compared to my old one which just couldn't cope with this dark subject.
When I set up my tripod on Aust beach the tide was coming in, & approaching my boots. This is my final shot of that night, & I later noticed the tide had turned to reveal the ancient jetty supports in the foreground .. what a great reminder of things past. :o)Comments

Fantastic shot, Phil. Everything about this night shot is just wonderful. Aren't you glad you took just 'one more'? lol The color capture is tops and your use of the filter software made this really a special image. Good luck.

Just great Phlossie. Now I will go searching for that software. lol I love the colors and reflections. This should do well in contest. Bridge 54 (Where are you) would have done great as well. You really are quite good at this photo thing.

Very impressive shot Phil. The sky has an iridescent look to it which I think is fantastic. The lights and shadows on the foreshore are wonderful as well. This is a strong contender for the comp, good luck.

Best wide-angle lens? Two steps backward. Look for the 'ah-ha'. Ernest Haas
a master of darkness. great clarity and exposure considering what is left of the daylight. wonderfully soft yet expressive colours and tones. good stuff !!
