This is where the march stopped for awhile due to the high volume of people outside the Houses of Parliament.
The protest went without any violence, or Police intervention of any sort, however away from the march a small group of lawless anarchists tried to steal the show. You can read a newspaper account here, it seems the anarchists organised themselves through facebook, & twitter although many where from a lawless group called Black Bloc. What I found most amazing is that Black Bloc is an American organisation !

Another for the photojournalism crowd Phlossie. Good shot of the peaceful demonstration. Too bad there were some idiots that had to be heard. The peaceful group put them in their place very well. I am not a big fan of facebook and/or twitter.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
This kind of problem occurs here too in Hamburg when there is a peaceful demonstration. There are always miscreants who try to make use of the demonstration to create trouble. Nice capture, Phil.

Well that's an interesting bit of information. The state governments are trying to do the same here. They want to remove collective bargaining and labor unions, everything the worker has strived for until now. Great pics, Phil.
