Here's another new addition to my gallery, apparently these Geese are a little bit rare.

Sounds like some hanky panky going on in the pond Phlossie. I can see why they would be rare. I have heard of an ugly duckling turning into a swan but ...............
Excellent clarity and comp.

Rare? Did I hear rare? Not for me. I like my fowl roasted fully. Oh, you didn't mean THAT kind of rare, eh? OK then. Fantastic shot of this fine looking goose. You even got really good detail in the grass. Very nice.

Great close up once again, Phile I sure like your fowl captures, always so sharp, and clear with beautiful color, and great details. =^..^=Tigs

Such a robust looking bird with really nice brown markings. Good shot too, Phil.

My Mom used to tell me not place my feet this way, but if even the models are allowed, why shouldn't I ?!!!
10/10 of course
What a neglect - you should have wiped her/his bill and/or generally the face before taking pic, dear Phil.
As regards fowl for food, I only eat fish and very seldom turkey...

I see no traces of swan here but the goose looks good. Nice and sharp image Phil.
