Hi Phil,i hadn't seen this Bar Headed goose picture before,it is really cute,i see a Bar Headed goose at a local pond all year long (except when nesting),they are smaller than other geese,its call is similar to ducks,they are grey with a bit of white and brown,they have a yellow beak and yellow feet,they can also have orange feet,it is one of the world's highest flying birds.@ Raj,they have something special in their blood so that is why they can fly at high altitudes (8000-10000 m - 26000-30000 ft or more).I will see the local Bar Headed goose tomorrow :) .
