I've been unable to log onto Caedes, & several other websites for months now! After countless unsuccessful attempts on getting connected I finally remembered customising my internet router. After resetting it to default all problems have disappeared.

Btw in case my American cousins don't know it's been raining continually for about 3 months now in the West Country, & some parts of Somerset are flooded out! & what's more the gales have now arrived! . )o:

Basically this means I haven't been down to WWT Slimbridge for ages, but hey enjoy this old shot of another Coot, they love the weather. Lol

Please spare a thought for us as we deal with constant rain, but the English shall keep their stiff upper lip, but will someone have a word with Phil Collins enough is enough!

A super shot of this fellow. So glad you got the problem fixed and it's great seeing you back.

Oh my goodness your weather is really wild over there, just be careful and stay dry. Take care

It is wonderful to see you back my friend. I think you did a super job on capturing the details, and markings of him/her, I have never had any luck in getting a close up of one. I have heard of the nasty weather, it seems to be widespread this year, just in different forms, here it won't stop snowing!
I look forward to seeing more of you on Caedes, after all the hard work you put into getting things fixed. :)

It's 'Coot' to 'see' you back old pal..

I thought it might have been the floods that cut you off!..

Terrible, terrible what those folks and families have gone through!..and no let up in the near future either!...my heart bleeds for them!....

I have just been watching Prince Charles visiting the flooded areas Phil. It is terrible - some have lost everything they own. Nice shot of the coot. With all electronic gadgets a reset often works wonders.

I can only get close to the "Old Coots," Phlossie.
Glad to see you back. I have been watching news on the terrible flooding. The world is "topsy turvy," these days.
Good shot of the coot.

The coots probably don't mind the flooding, but I bet they would hate all the snow we have here. Nice shot, Phil.

Good to see you again Phil. I visit a village near Chester to visit its pond to photograph the birds and have tried to get some decent images of coots and moorhens but unlike you I always seem to fail.
