Bill is a founding member of the band Little Feat. He and I have been friends for at least 25 years and he's always interesting to interact with, whether it's over dinner or just back stage. I am thankful to have photography access to his shows. He's currently touring as the keyboard player for the Doobie Brothers. This was a night he was sitting in with Leftover Salmon. What a honor to be friends with such a talented artist like Mr. Payne. I had to google Leftover Salmon. This is a very good B&W and to me it sets a mood to this one. I hope you will enter it in the challenge. tigs=^..^=

Actually, Little Feat is reforming for the next few days and playing a couple East Coast shows. Bill is also an exceptional photographer.

Great that you have access to his shows, so enabling to provide us with a perfect shot for the Wednesday B&W challenge.
PS: as European I'm not that familiar with the music of Mr. Bill Payne. The music of Leftover Salmon however is well known to me. My favorite: Troubled Times.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
